Battle Grapple
In the far future, one of the most popular forms of entertainment is Battle Grapple, a choreographed combat show broadcast on every planet. A young grappler struggling to find his place must suddenly deal with the realities of galactic politics as a civil war is brewing.

The "Grapple" Story
"Battle Grapple: Rebel" combines elements of popular underdog sport narratives with epic science fiction concepts. While on some level it is "pro-wrestling in space!"--which is, objectively, an amazing concept on its own--this story is about the effect politics can have on individuals in all strata of society and culture. We think readers will be drawn in with the umbrella premise of “underdog pro-wrestler" but get wrapped up in the message and the rich characters.
This comic is being done in the traditional style. Blue-line paper, hand inks and lettering.
